Biofa Furniture Oil 2049
For all furniture surfaces. Good wood penetration, microporous and antistatic.
Enhances wood structure. Colorless, solvent-free product based on natural raw materials.
All wood surfaces (furniture and interior fittings, drawers, closets) except worktops.
Instructions for use
- Substrate preparation he substrate must be dry (wood with less than 12% humidity), free from grease stains and dirt.
Sanding with 240-grit abrasive is recommended. - Base coat: eRemove any skin; stir well.
The product can be applied by brush, roller, spray or cloth.
Allow the product to penetrate for 30-50 minutes, then wipe over with a white pad or cloth. - Finishing:a second application after 6-12 hours makes the finish more resistant, more beautiful.
Important: test first.
During application and drying, ensure good ventilation and air circulation. Do not apply below 16°C! - Cleaning equipment: aUse BIOFA 0600 brush cleaner or BIOFA 0500 thinner immediately after use.
- Maintenance Surfaces treated with BIOFA 2049 Furniture Oil should, if necessary, be maintained with the same product.
In this case, repeat a thin application with a cloth, followed by polishing.
Drying
Dry and recoatable after 6-12 hours (at 20°C / 50-55% humidity).
Thorough drying and optimum resistance are achieved after 7 to 10 days.
Consumption
Consumption 20-30 ml/m²,
yield 35-50 m²/liter.
Composition
Linseed oil, tung oil, soybean oil, castor oil, beeswax, rosin resin ester, carnauba wax, silicic acid, cobalt hexanoate drier, zirconium and manganese.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, tightly closed. Skin may form. Remove before re-use.
Safety instructions
Allow cloths soaked in thinner to dry on non-flammable surfaces (risk of self-ignition). after soaking in water, or store in hermetically sealed metal containers.
The product is not inherently flammable.
Contains cobaltbis(-ethylhexanoate). May cause allergic reactions.
Natural products should be kept out of reach of children.
Use only in well-ventilated areas.
When applying, observe safety rules for skin protection.
Wear a fine dust mask when sanding.
The use of natural raw materials may give off a characteristic odour.
Recyclin g
Do not dispose of residues down the drain.
Liquid product should be disposed of in paint containers or in accordance with local regulations.
Small quantities and dry rags can be disposed of in household waste.
Empty, dry packaging should be disposed of at a waste disposal center.
Uncleaned packaging should be treated in the same way as the product.
