Teak and garden furniture oil 3752
For treatment and maintenance of garden furniture made from teak, exotic woods, conifers and hardwoods.
Colorless satin finish for exterior use, good wood penetration. Enhances the structure and natural color of wood. Revitalizes wood.
Instructions for use
- Substrate preparation: The substrate must be dry (wood with less than 12% humidity), clean, free of dust and grease stains.
If necessary, clean with BIOFA 0500 thinner.
Remove old paint.
For furniture, final sanding should be carried out with 180-grit abrasive; cladding can be treated as rough sawn or planed. - Application: Apply with brush, roller, spray gun or cloth, thinly and evenly.
After allowing the product to penetrate for 30 minutes, wipe the surface with a cloth.
Be sure to wipe down corners, edges, grooves and carvings.
Highly absorbent woods should be treated in 2 applications.
Surfaces subject to extreme wear and weathering require an annual maintenance coat.
For maintenance, a thin coat of garden furniture oil should be appliedand polished after allowing it to penetrate for about half an hour.
Important: test first.
Do not apply in hot weather or direct sunlight, as the oil may crack or "sweat" (stick to the surface).
Do not use treated furniture for at least 48 hours.
During application and drying, ensure good ventilation and air circulation. - Clean materialwith BIOFA 0500 thinner immediately after use.
Drying
Drying time is 6 to 12 hours (at 20-23°C / 50-55% humidity).
Through-drying and optimum strength are achieved after 7 to 10 days.
Composition
Linseed oil, safflower oil, wood oil, castor oil, aliphatic hydrocarbons, rosin resin ester, iron oxide uv filter, silicic acid, titanium dioxide, succinic acid, microcire, zinc oxide, montmorillonite, cobalt octoate driers, zirconium octoate driers, antioxidant.
Consumption
1st coat: 70-100ml/m²
2nd coat: 30-50ml/m²
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, tightly closed.
