Trimetal Globaprim Fix

Characteristics - Use :

• is designed for fixing bricks, hydraulic mortar, concrete, fibre cement and floury paints in such a way as to

enable the application of dispersion paints.

• significantly reduces the porosity of new or absorbent substrates. This provides a sound base for finishing with latex or acrylic paints

Substrates and paint systems:

GLOBAPRIM FIX can be applied to all sound, dry, coherent exterior hydraulic substrates after appropriate preparation at
depending on the substrate to be treated. Saltpetre and dirt will be removed by brushing with a hard brush.

Substrate preparation :

1. New, porous or inconsistent substrates: Remove dust and apply a coat of GLOBAPRIM FIX.
2. Old, powdery substrates: Brush and fix with a coat of GLOBAPRIM FIX.
3. Walls treated with white wash: Brush and apply 1 to 2 coats of GLOBAPRIM FIX, depending on thickness.
4. Peeling paint: Scrape and brush before applying GLOBAPRIM FIX.
5. Substrates characterized by the presence of moss, algae or fungi:

• Treatment with POLYFILLA PRO S705, leave for at least 24 hours (repeat treatment if necessary).
• Brush dry to remove any residues of greenery, mould and algae.
• Rinsing is not necessary, as it prolongs the effect.
• Apply GLOBAPRIM FIX to absorbent or floury surfaces.

Finishing :

Top coats can only be applied once the solvents have completely evaporated and the surface is no longer
sticky.
On very porous substrates or those that have been treated with lime, apply 2 coats of GLOBAPRIM FIX.

Notes

Under no circumstances should the surface become glossy after application.

Application and dilution :

Brush, roller or spray. Ready to use. After use, clean equipment with synthetic thinner.

Storage :

Store preferably frost-free and covered in original, unopened packaging, at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
At least 24 months in specified conditions.
